Privacy policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026
ds30 ("ds30", "we", "us") is a data and AI advisory firm. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit ds30.ai, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
ds30 is the data controller for the information described in this policy. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@ds30.ai.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We only set non-essential cookies (such as analytics cookies) after you give consent via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time using the small privacy icon shown in the corner of the page.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique visitors | 13 months |
| _ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics | Persists session state | 13 months |
| CookieConsent | Cookiebot | Remembers your cookie preferences | 12 months |
3. What we collect and why
If you consent to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site — pages viewed, approximate location (derived from IP address), device and browser type, and time spent on the site. This helps us understand what's useful to visitors and improve the site. We do not use this data to identify you personally.
We may also use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to understand the professional profile of our visitors (such as job title, seniority and industry, in aggregate) — this will only load if you consent to marketing cookies. This helps us understand who is finding ds30 useful.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent, given via the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time, which stops future data collection but does not affect processing that already took place while consent was active.
4. Who we share data with
Cookie and analytics data is processed by our third-party providers acting as processors on our behalf:
- Google LLC (Google Analytics) — see Google's privacy policy
- LinkedIn Corporation (Insight Tag, once enabled) — see LinkedIn's privacy policy
- Cybot A/S (Cookiebot by Usercentrics, cookie consent management) — see Cookiebot's privacy policy
These providers may process data on servers outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep data
The _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies described above are stored
in your browser for up to 13 months. Separately, Google Analytics retains the underlying event data
for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months (this period resets each time you revisit the site),
after which it is automatically deleted from Google's systems. Consent preference records are kept
for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@ds30.ai. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
